He began his professional career with Juan Matos, an internationally renowned salsa dancer of Dominican origin, who became his teacher and dance partner for several years.

In 2008, Marco decided to launch a solo and duo career, collaborating with talented dancers such as Haridian Buenavente, Natalia Lopez Toledano and Jessica Quiles, a multi-champion salsa dancer. The same year, he founded his own company, Ansima Ballet Production, with whom he performs on the stages of the world's most prestigious dance conventions.

Over the past decade, Marco has directed two hugely successful one-hour productions, “Poesia” and “The Pure”, cementing his reputation as one of the most innovative and creative choreographers on the world stage.
