Jacopo, born in Brescia, Italy, showed a deep love of Latin American rhythms and dance from an early age. His talent for salsa was soon noticed by the world's leading artists. At the age of 15, he made his debut as a dancer with the Latin Soul Dancers group under the direction of maestro Adolfo Indacochea. This experience launched his career and propelled him onto the greatest international stages.
Linda, also born in Brescia, shares the same passion for Latin American dance. She began her career at just 11 years of age, supporting the master Adolfo Indacochea in some of his couple choreographies and becoming a member of the Latin Soul Dancers group. Her grace and talent enabled her to shine alongside some of the world's greatest, performing on the world's most prestigious stages.
Together, Jacopo and Linda formed the couple J&L (Jacopo y Linda) in October 2017. Their shared passion, commitment and elegant traditional mambo style, fused with elements of other disciplines, have won them growing appreciation from salsero audiences. In April 2018, their participation in the TV show Danse avec les stars marked a turning point in their careers. The show introduced them to legendary MamboKing Eddie Torres, who invited them to New York to study under his tutelage. Eddie and Maria Torres, mambo pioneers, welcome them warmly and recognize them, alongside Eddie Torres Jr, as the heirs of the mambo and symbols of the “New Generation”.
